With ever increasing prices of material and allied items, the construction cost for building a house has also risen in the same way. The average construction cost with complete material and labour would stand somewhere between 1400 to 1600 rupees per square foot. If good and expensive material is utilised then it would go easily over Rs 2000/SFT.For example, a 30x60, 7 marla house having covered area of approximately 2500 SFT would cost at least 37 lac rupees @ 1500/SFT.
